The villagers of Minecraft are mobs that can trade multiple types of items with players. They have different professions which mainly affect their appearance and the items they trade. These entities connect to a specific type of block to acquire employment. Once they become professionals, they can interact with them for trading.
Players usually mine blocks, kill monsters, or loot chests to get items in the sandbox title. However, trade is a more civil way to acquire them as players simply have to give villagers one item in exchange for another. While there are many different villager professions in the game, here are some of the best ones.

Top 7 Minecraft Villager Swaps Players Should Opt In 2022, Ranked
7) Farmer – Wheat
A farmer is a type of villager who usually works on farms and grows different types of crops using a composter, their construction block. They can also trade various types of food items and give emeralds for certain raw materials.
One of the best trades is when players give farmers wheat for emerald. Whenever explorers reach a village, they will most likely find piles of hay bales. They can simply be extracted, turned into wheat and sold to the farmer in the same village.
6) Cartographer – Woodland Mansion Explorer Map
A cartographer is a type of villager who takes care of all sorts of map-related things. Therefore, after reaching a certain professional level, they exchange explorer cards for ocean monuments and forest mansions.
Since Woodland Mansions are much rarer than any other structures, the Explorer card is considered one of the best professions.
5) Cleric – Rotten Flesh
A cleric is a villager who can trade all sorts of potion-related items with players.
When players first find them, Clerics will be ready to take Rotten Flesh for a emerald. While this may not seem like the best trade, it can be extremely beneficial for new players or those with a working mob farm. Entire piles of Rotten Flesh can be given to a Cleric in order to receive multiple Emeralds.
4) Fletcher – Sticks
When players first find Fletchers, they’ll take sticks for an emerald. This is another great craft for new players, as sticks can easily be crafted by combining two wooden planks.
The only downside is that this option may become unavailable if they transact too often.
3) Armorer – Enchanted Diamond Armor Pieces
When it comes to higher tier trades, players will greatly benefit from Gunsmiths. As they continue to trade, these pros will level up and offer stronger pieces of armor. At Expert level, they will start trading enchanted diamond armor gear.
These professions are as good as finding diamonds since players usually craft tools from them.
2) Blacksmith – Enchanted Diamond Tools
A black-smith is a type of villager who can trade all kinds of tool-related items. When players trade with them, they gradually increase their levels and trade in enchanted diamond tools.
Diamond tools start at master level and players can trade emeralds to get them. Although these tools can be quite expensive, trading prices can be reduced in several ways.
1) Librarian – Enchanted Books
A librarian is arguably the best villager in the entire game. These pros mostly trade enchanted books, along with other random items like lanterns, glass blocks, nametags, and more.
Experienced players usually prefer a Librarian to give them the exact enchantment. They can even set up an entire room for the villager, each of which offers different types of enchantments in the form of books.
