Batman / Fortnite crossover gets DC Comics graphic novel release
Earlier this summer, DC Comics and Epic Games teamed up to release a comic book series based on the Fortnite universe with Batman as the main character. The comic book series has six issues, but for die-hard fans who want something with more longevity that looks better off the shelf, DC has released a Graphic Novel Edition with all six stories.
DC Comics series Batman / Fortnite involves Batman and a host of other popular Gotham City characters after being sucked into battle royale island. Batman’s memory has been erased; he does not remember his identity, where he came from, or how to get home.
The character faces off against others from his own universe, as well as Fortnite characters like Fishstick and Bandolier. The story is told in six comic book issues, each highlighting the larger Fortnite storyline and how the dimensional rift plays out in the plot. Stories are a solid addition for those invested in Epic’s gaming world.
DC teases that his Batman / Fortnite the comics reveal certain plot points that weren’t revealed in-game or elsewhere. The titles have been released in physical copies for each issue, as well as digital copies for those with DC’s subscription service.
The graphic novel contains the six issues of the Batman / Fortnite Comic book crossover in one edition, making it easier to keep on the shelf as a collector’s item. The graphic novel is rated T for Teen and is priced at $ 24.99 USD. Fans can now purchase a copy of the graphic novel from DC’s online store.
