Fortnite 19.40 Early Patch Notes: Server Downtime, New Spider-Man Skin & Wild Week
Exotic weapons are the rarest and most powerful Fortnite weapons, so here are all the ones in the game along with their locations in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1.
Fortnite has a wide assortment of weapons to choose from, with the most powerful being the extremely rare Exotic weapons that made their appearance during Chapter 2, Season 5.
With all of the brand new changes in Chapter 3, it wasn’t clear if the Exotic Weapons would still be available in the game. Luckily, they’re still there, but their location on the map has changed.
Here are all the Fortnite Chapter 3 Exotic weapon locations.
Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1 Exotic Weapon Locations
At the time of writing, you can find a total of four exotic weapons in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1, but we expect this number to increase as the developers are always adding new content to the game.
You can buy them from NPCs for the right amount of gold bars. Each Exotic weapon has distinct attributes and using them can help you secure a Victory Royale, so we’ll go over their locations on the map, along with the costs and NPCs you need to visit.
Arrow sniper rifle
You can get this exotic weapon from The Scientist NPC roaming around The sanctuary for 600 gold bars. Alternatively, the Boom Sniper Rifle can also be purchased from Lt. John Llama which is located southwest of Logjam Lumberyard.
The pistol is similar to the heavy sniper rifle, with the biggest difference being that your targets will take 10 contact damage from the clinger, then the projectile will explode and deal an additional 60 damage to them.
This exotic double-barreled beauty can deal serious damage to your opponents, and you can buy it from Bunker Jonesy. This character is located near a trailer on the south side of The Joneses.
Purchasing this exotic shotgun will cost you 600 gold bars. Although the weapon has a low range and a small magazine, it is capable of wiping out your enemies in close combat, so it’s worth getting it.
Chilli Chug Splash
Chili Chug Splashes can be purchased from Guaco for 210 gold bars in Greasy Grove or scavenged inside loot llamas. This exotic weapon can greatly benefit you and your teammates.
Hold down the fire button to aim where you want to throw it, and it will pop open splashing nearby players. In addition to healing your teammates, it will also give them the ability to move faster.
The Marksman Six Shooter costs 400 gold bars and you can buy it from the NPC Mancake to Butter Barn, southwest of Rocky Reels. Alternatively, you can also get it from the Cuddle team leader at Cuddle Camp.
This “rapid-firing handgun” can deal 24 damage per shot with a six magazine. Although it doesn’t hold a lot of bullets, the 2.1 second reload time ensures a more consistent rate of fire.
