Grand Theft Auto VI to cover multiple countries

Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter is widely known for his knowledge and opinions on the video game industry, and often talks about what he thinks is going to happen. However, he extremely rarely talks about specific details about upcoming games he knows, which makes tonight’s commentary very interesting.

Because Pachter and Shane Satterfield suddenly released a mini-episode of their show Pachter Factor to let the former reveal some really intriguing things he heard about the recently confirmed Grand Theft Auto VI. Pachter claims that GTA VI will be “a mixture of Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City, so GTA III, and Europe. And so, London of course. And you’re going to be able to go anywhere on those continents – European continent, United States And you’re going to have missions that take you to all of these places.”

Claims that GTA VI is going global make sense, given that Jason Schreier is very reliable, said that Rockstar plans to launch a more “moderate” sized Grand Theft Auto and instead build on that base when it launches. was at Kotaku two years ago. Maybe that means Grand Theft Auto VI will start somewhere in the US, then gradually introduce England, Japan, Norway (I wish) and other countries as add-ons later?

Obviously, rumors like this need to be taken with a bit of salt, but having a somewhat famous analyst who is known to have close contacts at Take-Two sharing a real scoop for once makes it more believable and the concept certainly sounds exciting to me. And you?
