BoomTV returns to the competitive Fortnite Battle Royale scene this weekend with a US $ 25,000 duo tournament. With the hiring of some of North America’s best players, it promises to deliver some excitement and thrilling endgame games.

Last time around, Evan “FaZe Cented” Barron and Josh “TSM FTX Commandment” Roach led the pack, collecting US $ 3,000 in the process. The latest BoomTV Code Red tournament offers a bigger prize pool and a stacked group of participants.

BoomTV Code Red tournament format and schedule

Forty-seven invited teams and three qualified teams will regroup into a group of 50 pairs in the Code Red final on October 12. The ultimate goal is to accumulate points through placement and elimination points over six games. All correspondence will take place in customer lobbies on the NA East server region.

BoomTV Code Red tournament scoring system

The Code Red tournament scoring structure offers 41 points for each winning duo and two points per elimination. Teams would need around 20 kills to match a Victory Royale, which would make it a more balanced system.

  • 1st: 41 points
  • 2nd: 34 points
  • 3rd: 30 points
  • 4th: 27 points
  • 5th: 25 points
  • 6th: 22 points
  • 7th: 20 points
  • 8th: 18 points
  • 9th: 16 points
  • 10th: 14 points
  • 11-15: 10 points
  • 16-20: 7 points
  • 21-30: 4 points
  • 31-50: 2 points
  • Eliminations: 2 points each

BoomTV Code Red Tournament Prize Pool

The duos are vying for a share of US $ 25,000. The prize pool pays out the top eight placements, with US $ 7.5,000 for first place and eighth for US $ 1.25,000.
