Leak reveals GTA’s remastered trilogy

A new leak suggests that a “definitive edition” of Grand Theft Auto Trilogy could feature remastered versions of three beloved games in the GTA series.

Grand Theft Auto is one of the most iconic series of all games. However, many players have only ever played a few GTA titles, thanks to the release of many of them so long ago.

This is why GTA fans old and new alike are in desperate need of remakes of the classic entries.

Fortunately, it looks like Rockstar is listening and will be bringing back some of the classic games for the new generation of gamers. Plus, they’ll look and play better than ever if this leak is correct.

But first, check out the new, extended and improved GTA 5 trailer for PS5

GTA San Andreas Remastered Trilogy

Grand Theft Auto Trilogy – The Definitive Leaked Edition

Grand Theft Auto fans are notoriously hard to please – although there’s a reason they hated the GTA 5 Expanded & Enhanced trailer. On the other hand, this news will become even more difficult to satisfy excited fans.

A new listing found on the South Korean Games Rating Board found a new GTA game called “Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition”.

Unfortunately, the list contains very little information about the game. The only things that can be found are the name of the game as well as the age category “kids not allowed”.

However, we have a good idea of the games that will be included in the remastered GTA trilogy.

GTA Remastered Trilogy Vice City

Remakes of GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas?

Previous rumors suggest that Rockstar has been working to remake 3 GTA titles in particular. These are GTA 3, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas.

Therefore, since this leak mentions a trilogy, we are predicting that these will likely be the three remastered games included in the GTA Trilogy – Definitive Edition.

Even though Rockstar has yet to announce the collection, age ratings are a very reliable way to tell if a game is actually real or not. Therefore, expect an announcement from Rockstar in the coming weeks or months.

If this leak is correct, the remastered GTA trilogy will most likely arrive on next-gen consoles. If you don’t have a PS5 or Xbox Series X yet, there are plenty of restockings this week.

In other gaming news, there will be plenty of titles to look forward to in the future. Not only will Call of Duty Vanguard release soon, but DICE has also announced the new release date for Battlefield 2042.

Meanwhile, Xbox fans are already dabbling in Halo Infinite tech previews. The first signs are looking good for the triumphant return of Master Chief!

Finally, PlayStation Showcase revealed some PS5-exclusive comic book action in Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine. They might still be a long way off, but the trailers have already got us excited.
