New GTA San Andreas review mod spices up game visuals
A new GTA San Andreas overhaul mod has been released, adding new reflections to the title alongside screen space reflections, screen space ambient occlusion, raindrops, and more.
As GTA fans wait for Rockstar to officially announce the GTA Remastered trilogy rumor, modder “Makarus” has released a brand new version of his graphics redesign for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on PC. The latest beta of its redesign, “SA_DirectX 3.0 Beta”, contains many graphical improvements, including those mentioned above, but also some additional tweaks and lighting improvements.
Below you’ll find a video showing the graphics redesign in action. We have to say that this mod looks pretty impressive, especially since San Andreas is almost 17 years old.
Unfortunately, this San Andreas revamp is currently only available to customers, but the modder hopes to release their mod to the general public in the future.
