Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite and more running in 8K/DLSS 2 quality on NVIDIA RTX 4090

YouTube’s Benchmark Lab has shared a video showcasing Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite and more running in 8K with DLSS 2 quality on the NVIDIA RTX 4090.

The full list of games presented by Benchmark Lab in 8K is as follows:

  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered
  • Red Dead Redemption 2
  • Legion of Watch Dogs
  • Horizon Zero Dawn
  • Ghost Wire Tokyo
  • Fortnite
  • Microsoft Flight Simulator

In order to achieve playable frame rates at 8K, Benchmark Lab used DLSS 2 quality mode. And, as you’ll see, most of the aforementioned games are actually playable. Although they don’t hit constant 60 fps, they are at least over 30-40 fps.

As we’ve reported before, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 is a pixelated, ray-traced beast. You can find our 4K benchmarks here. Also be sure to check out our DLSS 3 article.

Lastly, YouTube is flooded with lots of fake RTX 4090 videos. Someone even uploaded a fake RTX 4070 benchmarks video. So yeah, be very careful with those clickbaity videos. Benchmark Lab, on the other hand, is a reliable source, which is why we share their results.
