Red Dead Redemption 2 modder turns Guarma into a vacation retreat

Your stay in Guarma during the story of Red Dead Redemption 2 is somewhat fleeting. While Rockstar Games stages most of Chapter Five there, returning isn’t an option once back in America. Now, however, a modder has turned Guarma into a vacation spot you can visit at will.

El-Drewsifer’s Trelawny’s Travel mod lets you return to the tropical island and indulge all your vacation fantasies. You can ride a hot air balloon, swim with the turtles, and shoot down crowds of zombies – all classics. You can also take the off-road buggy through the Bizzaro Mountains and ride the steamer as if it were a surfboard. If that doesn’t appeal to you, you can go trekking the old-fashioned way.

One of the most important features is the hot air balloon. Once you’ve jumped, you can use different keys to control how the wind blows. Keep in mind, however, that you’ll get stuck in the ceiling of the game if you fly too high, and the ball will vanish if you drop it.

Activities like hunting panthers, swimming with sea turtles, fighting O’Driscolls, and fighting zombies are more recent additions, so you can still get more features.

See Nexus Mods for instructions on downloading Trelawny’s Travel. Once everything is in place, you can head towards Guarma by spinning to the quays of Saint Denis. As always, edit with caution.
