The First Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy

Just days before launch, the first gameplay sequence for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition was leaked.

The gameplay footage features the remastered version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas running on PS4 and appeared on Reddit earlier today. She shows a little gameplay clip and she looks really good. In particular, the draw distance of the game is much better than what we had in the PS2 version of the game.

Speaking of the game in particular and how it works on PS4, the user said, “The traffic is the same on PS4, but I’m assuming PC and PS5 will increase that. The frame rate is solid. You feel like you are in San Andrea with improvements in the quality of life. This aim is very similar but you have sensitivity sliders etc. The ride is similar but tighter too which is nice the shot is exactly the same, to be honest I can’t tell the difference.

Previously, Rockstar had only released clips of gameplay cutscenes, so this is our first look at the actual gameplay offering 40 seconds of gameplay. It is not known where the leaked images came from. It’s a bit odd considering the physical version is still a month away and obviously the game can’t really go digital early.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will release digitally on November 11 and physically release December 6 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
